These trips originate near the historic old west town of Kernville. Our season runs from April through early July and we have trips every day. This is a very popular trip with corporate, school, church and scout groups. Please call us to put together a whitewater rafting trip for your group. Easily accessible to all Southern California cities, a day on the Kern is a fabulous, nearbly adventure.

  Full Day
The ultimate in one-day getaways, the Class III-V Upper Kern is famous for its extreme gradient, big waves and tricky drops. Its powerful, fast-moving whitewater makes it possible to run several of the best rapids more than once. After a morning of rafting, we take a break for a deli style, riverside lunch. Right after lunch we’re back on the river for an afternoon of terrific whitewater. Prices for standard trips range from $148 - $178. The Class V Thunder Run is $225.
  Half Day
Afternoon half-day trips depart daily April through July. The price is $105 midweek and $115 on weekends.
  Lickety Splits
If you have young ones in your group or are short on time, join us for this popular Class II and III run on the Upper Kern, the famed Lickety Split. This affordable trip offers you a sample of whitewater on the Kern River that is sure to whet your appetite and have you screaming for more. If you are feeling especially adventurous, you might be able to pilot your own Splasyhak on your second run. $35.00 plus 3% Visitor Fee for the standard Lickety; a double Lickety is only $50.00 plus 3% Visitor Fee.
